Painting at the Farm

Painting at the Farm takes the easel outdoors at Cultivating Dreams Farm. With Angela Carrozza, participants paint directly from what is in front of them, the fields, animals, sky and seasonal color, learning to look first and paint second. Working from life outdoors gives the finished work an energy that copying from a photograph never quite reaches. Part of the weekday day program at Hudson Valley InterArts.
