Finding Healing Through Nature and Art: Grief in Motion Returns This Winter
Grief isn’t something we “get over”—it’s something we carry, and sometimes, we need community, movement, and creativity to help us carry it with more ease.
We’re honored to share a powerful opportunity for healing: Grief in Motion, an 8-week hybrid support group designed for NY and CT residents navigating loss. Facilitated by licensed therapists Maria Antell, LCSW, and Lisa Papantoniou, LCAT, this group offers a compassionate space to explore grief through gentle outdoor movement, psychoeducation, conversation, and expressive arts.
Sessions will alternate between the beautiful trails of the Great Swamp Wildlife Management Area and the cozy Hudson Valley InterArts art room. You’ll walk, reflect, create, and connect with others—all at your own pace. No art experience is needed, and the group is inclusive of all bodies, backgrounds, and identities.
🗓️ Fridays, 9–10:30 AM 📍 Patterson, NY 📅 February 20 – April 3 (8 sessions) 💛 Cost: $480 (insurance super-bills available)
An initial screening with Maria is required prior to joining.
