Discover the basics of pottery on the wheel in this fun, hands-on 2.5-hour workshop. Perfect for first-time potters, you'll learn fundamental techniques including centering clay, opening, pulling walls, and shaping a simple vessel. Your instructor, Liz Stine, will guide you through each step while you practice creating your own pieces.
At the end of the workshop, you'll choose your favorite piece to be trimmed, glazed, and kiln-fired by the studio. Finished work will be ready for pickup in approximately 3–4 weeks.
No experience is necessary. All materials, tools, clay, and firing are included. Wear comfortable clothes that can get a little messy, and come ready to get your hands dirty!
