Brian Zickafoose is an award-winning illustrator, muralist, and visionary artist based in New York’s Hudson Valley, with roots in West Virginia. Celebrated for his bold, immersive style, Zickafoose’s illustrations have won prestigious advertising awards and have been featured in major projects, including Beverly Hills Cop 4.
In addition to his commercial success, Zickafoose is known for his Psy-Country series, a collection of visionary paintings that explore the intersection of psychedelic art and Appalachian culture. His mural work, including The Gift and Buddhist-inspired pieces for Bangkok Station Thai Restaurant, further demonstrates his ability to craft compelling narratives through art.
He has also created iconic poster designs for Mountain Music Festival and jam-band, Eggy’s Las Vegas afterparties. As an educator, Zickafoose teaches painting and art business classes, inspiring others to pursue their creative passions. Through projects like the Art Day in the Village Banner Project and seasonal window murals, he continues to enrich his community with impactful and transformative art.
