There are several styles of kickboxing. The kickboxing style being taught at InterArts is a hybrid of Japanese Karate (Kyokushin), Boxing (Western and Cuban) and Thai boxing (Thailand). We will teach the class in a traditional Japanese way: Kihon meaning technique, Kata – meaning combination exercises, Kumite – meaning sparring/ bag work. We will play games, practice to music and have fun while getting fit and learning how to defend ourselves. All ages are welcome.
