Performance Theater – 12:30PM
This theater performance class, taught by Krista Libertino and Grace Cotter, incorporates a blend of theater and dance techniques, geared towards enhancing your performance abilities while developing social skills and connections! Over the course of 8 weeks, participants will embark on an exciting journey of self-expression, creativity, and performance. The class will build up to a collaborative performance piece, culminating in a grand finale showcase for friends and family!
From mastering stage presence to learning dance choreography, each session is crafted to build confidence, develop skills, and ignite a passion for the performing arts! Through a combination of improvisation, character development, and movement exercises, we will explore the intricacies of storytelling through both movement and dialogue.
Whether you’re a seasoned performer or a first-time enthusiast, this class welcomes individuals of all levels to come together, share their talents, and shine on stage!
Class Level: ASSISTED. This class will include assistance for students needing support in engagement and participation. This may be assistance from instructors, support staff, or caregivers, or a combination of the above. Assistance is encouraged, and accessibility is a priority. Students should be prepared for diverse abilities, and engagement that is both independent and collaborative with support.
