Now on show at Hudson Valley InterArts: Creative Centering. This exhibition features wood-carved art by InterArts Creative Director Eric Archer C. Dahlberg.

Eric Archer C. Dahlberg is a multi-instrumentalist musician, artist, and poet drawing inspiration from nature and its bounty.  As a woodcarver and painter, he is known for his organic wall sculptures that channel natural patterns and the fluidity of light.  A lover of nature and art in all forms, he expresses this love through artistic practices which overlap music, meditation, yoga, cooking, teaching, storytelling and poetry.  Eric’s work allows him to share his passions by serving others while building community with presence.

Eric has been core faculty at the Omega Institute teaching meditation since 2012, and has piloted programs in mindfulness and music at the Millbrook School and the Finger Lakes School of Massage.  He has also co-produced and hosted the lecture and storytelling series Everyday Expert, a platform for localized education and community enrichment in the Hudson Valley of New York.

Eric’s visual art is a hybrid of natural, found, and reclaimed materials channeled into wall sculpture through the human touch. His wood-carved paintings allow natural and organic shapes and processes to guide his work, where these patterns speak first, drawing the viewer into a sense of curiosity and wonder.

This exhibition will be held during the Grand Opening of the InterArts Center. Join us for the celebration and view the InterArts Center’s inaugural exhibition.
